Consumer protection provisions have been enacted in response to the COVID-19 outbreak in California. The link includes a list of both Investor Owned Utilities (IOUs), which are regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), and Publicly Owned Utilities (POUs). PHONE & INTERNET ASSISTANCE  (As with everything related to the COVID-19 outbreak, assistance protections change. Please verify these offers with your provider)

 AT&T | All late fees will be waived and service disconnections for non-payment has been suspended. All broadband usage caps for home internet customers has been suspended and no overage fees will be applied. This applies to small business and residential customers and is in effect until further notice.
