SnapBack Assistance for Workers
COVID-19 has left an unprecedented amount of individuals
unable to work and struggling to meet basic needs.
Stanislaus County Workforce Development has limited funding still available to help workers snap back from the effects of COVID-19.
SnapBack Assistance for Workers provides assistance up to $800 for
workers that have been terminated, laid off, had a reduction of hours
or are self employed and unable to work due to COVID-19.
What can this assistance be used for?
Supportive services assistance payments (up to $800) can be used for
• Mortgage or Rental Assistance
• Utility Assistance (Electricity, Natural Gas, Water/Sewer/Garbage Service)
• Telework Equipment (Computer/Laptop, Internet Service, etc.)
Do I qualify for assistance?
Individuals must not have earned a household annual salary above 400%
of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) for the last six months of income.

Household Annual Salary can not exceed amounts listed below
(400% of Federal Poverty Level (FPL)
• Family of 1: $51,040
• Family of 2: $68,960
• Family of 3: $86,880
• Family of 4: $104,800
