Thank you for your interest in the Stanislaus County Business Grant Program
On July 14, 2020, the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors approved $10 million in CARES Act Coronavirus Relief Funding for the Stanislaus County Business Grant program to provide additional support to local businesses impacted by COVID-19.
The Stanislaus County Business Grant Program will award $10 million in grants to support, stabilize and secure the ongoing operation of local businesses with emphasis on those most impacted by COVID-19 and State mandated closures.

Program Details
Stanislaus County Business Grants will be awarded to eligible and qualified business applicants. Grant funds shall be used for operational needs such as payroll, lease/mortgage payments, materials, supplies, and services. Completed applications with all required documentation must be submitted by August 28, 2020 at 5:00 pm to be reviewed for eligibility.
All grants will be awarded based on a weighted criteria (1) Prior business health, (2) COVID-19 impact, (3) business planning/impact. Grants will not exceed maximum amounts listed below. A minimum of 50% , or $5 million dollars, of available funding will be allocated to support eligible small businesses (as defined below).
Grants up to $25,000 for Small Businesses
Businesses that employed 50 or less full-time equivalent employees for 12 months prior to the COVID-19 mandated closures on March 19, 2020 are eligible for a maximum award of $25,000 in grant funding.
Grants up to $50,000 for Medium/Large Businesses
Businesses that employed over 50 full-time equivalent employees for 12 months prior to the COVID-19 mandated closures on March 19, 2020 are eligible for a maximum award of $50,000 in grant funding.

Need help submitting your application?
Six agencies throughout Stanislaus County have agreed to provide outreach services to small businesses who may not have heard about the grant, have not received any Federal, State or Local funding or need additional assistance completing the application. They will provide one-on-one navigation services. Navigators can assist businesses determine eligibility, answer questions on required documentation and assist with submitting the online application.
